R.J. Lhinet Development Corporation (RJLDC) ventured into real estate development having a strong background in the construction and trading industry.
In the last quarter of 1993, the company purchased a 3.5 hectare property in Marilao, Bulacan. In the following year, the company started with the construction of Lhinette Homes. With assistance from the government in the form of development capital, RJLDC completed Lhinet Homes I and II in 1996. Today, the subdivision project serves as a community to over 550 families.
In 1996, the company purchased a 6.8 hectare property in Tanza, Cavite. Taking off from the success of RJLDC's Marilao project, Lhinette Homes- Tanza was launched. Once again, the company was able to provide homes for over nine hundred households.
It was in 1997 that the Asian regional economic crunch began taking toll on most businesses. Among those hardest hit was the property sector. The impasse forced many developers to fold up and divest. However, RJLDC braced the fundamentals of its corporate fiscal strategy and was able to hold on through a slow but sure disposition of its inventories.
The prospect for housing developments still proves attractive for the company. RJLDC is set to complete its newest project in Mandaluyong City, One Sapphire Condominium, by the first quarter of 2006.
RJLDC is currently evaluating a number of project prospects at hand.
The company is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission under SEC Registration No. ASO94-03569. |
